Corporate and Private Functions FAQ 

General:

How many people can you seat?
Up to 26 seated and up to 80 in a cocktail/garden party.

Are we able to arrange our own catering?
Unfortunately not. We have a high standard of catering so we would love to discuss options with you first.

What time is the venue available from?
From 7am through until 11pm

Is there off street parking available?
Yes, in a private courtyard with parking for up to 10 vehicles.

 Will you do room and event packages?
Yes, please contact us for more information.

Private functions:

What functions do you cater for? 
We can cater for anything in your life from christenings through to wakes and anything in between. 

 Is there a cover charge per person?
Not for the venue hire but catering is normally charged per head.

Weddings:

Can we get married on site?
Tangley offers a number of special onsite locations for your ceremony, choose from our stately Edwardian home, our tranquil gardens, or our purpose built garden  function room.

What type of receptions do you offer?
We will organise anything that you want, provided it's within the realms of possibility.

How much of the wedding are you able to organise?
We can organise the celebrant, photographer, flowers, hairdresser, even the make-up artist.

What time do we need to be finished?
Due to council restrictions, events need to be finished by 11pm.

Do you have to provide the alcohol?
No, we allow you to bring your own alcohol, and we do not charge corkage.  If required we can organise the alcohol for you.

Do you provide the food?
Yes, we have a range of quality chefs and caterers.  From very formal through to a Hangi or barbeque.

Can we bring our own wedding cake?
Yes. If required we can organise this for you.

Corporate:

Can you provide catering?
Yes, we can. From morning tea through to evening meal.

Can you hire room only?
Yes, we have half and full day rates.

Is there a cover charge per person?
Not for the room hire but catering is normally charged per head.

Do you provide a whiteboard and pens?
Yes, these are included in the room hire

Do you provide a data projector and screen?
Yes but you must book in advance. There will be a small hire charge.

Are there internet facilities?
Yes, we are wireless. The connection is included in the venue hire.

Do you have the facility for conference calls?
Not yet

How private is the room?
Extremely. The room is away from the main house, cannot be overlooked and is double glazed.
